Architectural Design II
Project 2: Contextual Fit
We are looking at adding on to the Smith House, which was built in 1965 by architect Richard Meier. By examining and integrating its current systems and patterns, the new design must honor the original architecture.
Additionally, we are required to create a concept that addresses the homeowners' present requirements while including new features or systems not included in the original home.
Narrative
The Smith Family is moving into a a home they want to make the home their own but also renovate it but keeping the original Smith House Layout. The Family has requested to make a gaming room for their kids and them selfs to join, as parents who love gaming since they were little, they want to make a room just for that. It’s going to be a own Private space form them and the kids. They will spend time together as a family learn teamwork and for everyone to be included but most important a balance where it combines entertainment with family bonding
